Mason Mount rejects new Chelsea contract offer
Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has cast doubts over his club future after turning down another contract offer.
The England international has been a crucial player for the Blues over the past four years, but he could leave them soon.
The Blues have been in regular talks with Mount, but they have failed to convince him with their contract proposal.
Mount is eyeing £240,000-a-week - similar to what Reece James is earning, but Chelsea are reluctant to go above £150,000 weekly.
As a result, there is a contract stand-off at the moment and this could pave the way for his departure in the summer.
Mount will enter the final year of his deal in July and it is claimed that Liverpool are closely monitoring him.
The Merseyside outfit are expected to spend big on their midfield and have their sights on landing two big names.
Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham is the number one target while Mount is the other name on their wishlist.
