Chelsea make Mason Mount contract decision
Chelsea have reportedly paused contract talks with Mason Mount with their main focus on ending the campaign on a high.
The England international has been a pivotal player for the Blues in the number 10 role, but he could leave the club soon.
His current deal expires at the end of next season and The Athletic claim that the club have yet to convince him to extending his stay.
The west London giants are presently focused on finishing the season on a strong note before reopening talks with Mount.
If Mount does not agree to fresh terms, it is claimed that the Blues will make the decision to part ways with him this summer.
A number of European clubs are keeping tabs on him but Premier League rivals Liverpool could be his preferred destination.
The Reds have already been in contact with his representatives and are optimistic of landing him on a cut-price deal.
Mount could be sold for around £40m at the end of the season.
