Dutch defender wants to join Man Utd this summer
Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong is reportedly keen on joining Manchester United in the next transfer window.
The Dutch right-back has been hugely impressive for the Bundesliga outfit, bagging eight goals and nine assists in 36 games.
He has also caught the eye defensively with his ability to win tackles and duels and United boss Erik ten Hag is keen on landing him.
It is now reported by Bild that the player would also like to join the Red Devils as he is looking forward to returning to Manchester.
The 22-year-old spent 13 years in Manchester. He was part of Manchester City's academy between 2010 and 2019 before leaving for Celtic.
United have reportedly been handed a huge boost in the pursuit but they will need to pay a premium fee to sign him from Leverkusen.
Frimpong has another two years left on his contract with the German side. They are only prepared to sell him for around €50 million.
