Man Utd midfielder produces sensational display vs Everton

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes was in superb touch during the 2-0 Premier League win over Everton on Saturday.

The Portuguese operated from the number six role against the Toffees and he was simply brilliant with more than 110 touches.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old completed 88 passes with eight long balls. He also created two big chances for his teammates.

Hence, he did plenty of things right for the Red Devils and there were no surprises that he was named the man of the match.

Fernandes is likely to revert to the number 10 role in the coming games as Casemiro is available for selection once more.

Casemiro was banned for the last four domestic games but he should be involved hereafter for the Mancunian giants.

United moved to 56 points with the win over the Toffees but they are still only three points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in fifth.

However, they have a game in hand over the north London club and remain in a strong position to seal Champions League qualification.
