Liverpool make Jude Bellingham transfer decision
Liverpool have decided to end their interest in signing Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The Merseyside giants had identified the midfielder as their priority target but they are not expected to continue their pursuit.
Talks were ongoing with his father and agent in recent months, but the transfer fee has now proved a stumbling block.
As per The Telegraph, the Reds have no plans of meeting Dortmund's valuation which is currently at £130 million.
The decision has been made collectively between the club and Jurgen Klopp such that they can make best use of the funds.
Instead of landing Bellingham, the Reds are now expected to focus on pursuing two midfielders for the same price.
Meanwhile, Bellingham could still make the switch to the Premier League with Manchester City among his admirers.
The Cityzens are planning a marquee signing this summer and they could spend most of their budget to land Bellingham.
Manchester United are also keen on the former Birmingham City youngster but they may struggle to compete with City.
