Chelsea to swoop for Raphinha this summer?

Chelsea are expected to make a fresh approach for Barcelona star Raphinha at the end of the campaign.

The Blues were determined to land the Brazilian from Leeds United last summer but they could not finalise a deal.

A transfer fee was agreed with the Yorkshire outfit but Raphinha was adamant that he wanted to join the Catalan giants.

Raphinha eventually got his wish but Sport claim that he could be sold by the La Liga outfit in the next transfer window.

The Spanish heavyweights have been asked to recoup €150m by La Liga this summer in order to make new summer signings.

Raphinha is one of the players that could head for the exit door and Chelsea are prepared to try their luck on him again.

They won't be alone in the pursuit, however. Arsenal could also enter the race as they have been his long-term admirers.

Raphinha has nine goals and nine assists in 40 games for Barcelona this term.
