Man Utd ready to pay big to sign Portuguese striker
Manchester United are ready to pay big to sign Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos during the summer transfer window.
The Portuguese star has had a superb season with the Primeira Liga champions, netting 27 goals and providing 12 assists.
His form has caught the eye of the Red Devils and Record claim that they are ready to make a multi-million offer to sign him.
He currently has a release clause worth €120 million but Benfica could accept a lesser fee up front for the highly-rated star.
Aside from United, Chelsea have also been linked with the 21-year-old but they have issues over the Financial Fair Play.
After the staggering €700m spend in the past year, the Blues need to offload players to balance their books in the summer.
Ramos would be a fantastic signing for either club. He could transform their fortunes with his regular scoring threat.
The Premier League duo could face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, who are also long-term admirers of Ramos.
