Reiss Nelson contract talks with Arsenal well under way

Reiss Nelson news

Reiss Nelson to sign new Arsenal deal

Arsenal have made significant strives forwards in their efforts to tie Reiss Nelson down to a new contract, as the winger appears to have agreed a two year deal with the Gunners. The youngster has been a fringe player for Arsenal in recent seasons, but flashes of brilliance appear to have persuaded the Emirates side to extend the player's deal.

Born on December 10, 1999, in London, Nelson has progressed through the ranks of Arsenal's youth system to establish himself as a promising player. Known for his technical abilities, pace, and agility, he primarily operates as a winger but can also play as an attacking midfielder or forward. Nelson's rapid development and impressive performances caught the attention of the Arsenal coaching staff, earning him a spot in the first team.

Since making his senior debut for Arsenal in 2017, Nelson has showcased glimpses of his immense potential. His quick feet and dribbling skills make him a threat in one-on-one situations, while his ability to cut inside and unleash powerful shots adds another dimension to his game. Despite facing stiff competition for playing time, Nelson has shown resilience and determination, continually pushing himself to improve. He has represented England at various youth levels and has already gained valuable experience on loan spells at clubs like Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga and Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, which helped him further refine his skills.

A return to England last year followed, and with important goals against the likes of Bournemouth, the Gunners have been desperate to tie the winger down to a brand new contract.
