Brighton join Chelsea in race to sign Ghana star

Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Ajax star Mohammed Kudus this summer.
The Ghana international was desperate to leave the Dutch giants last summer, but his departure to Everton was blocked.
He went on to have an impressive campaign with 18 goals and six assists. Ajax are now open to listening to offers.
Chelsea have held a long-term interest in the 22-year-old, but they could now face competition from Roberto De Zerbi's side.
Brighton had a stellar 2022/23 season in the Premier League, and they ended the campaign with Europa League qualification.
They are now aiming to add more quality into the squad. Kudus is one of the players targeted to improve their creativity.
Kudus could be available for a fee in the region of €40m. Brighton could have an upper hand over Chelsea in signing him.
Chelsea have lot of competition within the squad in comparison to Brighton, who could guarantee him a starting role.
