Arsenal want to sign £50m star after Partey exit
Arsenal could make an approach to sign Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia once Thomas Partey leaves the club.
Partey has been with the Gunners for the last three seasons where he has missed 37 competitive games through injuries.
The Ghanaian has now entered the final two years of his contract, and Sky Sports claim that he could be sold for the right price.
Arsenal currently value their experienced star at around £34m. There is already interest from Saudi Arabian clubs in him.
Juventus are also interested in the former Atletico man, and it is claimed that the Gunners are lining up his successor.
Lavia is currently the priority target for manager Mikel Arteta if Partey heads for the exit door in the coming weeks.
The 19-year-old had a brilliant top-flight season with the Saints. He was their stand-out performer despite their relegation.
Arsenal are not alone in the race for £50m star, and they could face competition from Liverpool and Chelsea.
