Barcelona join London duo in race for Brighton star
Barcelona have reportedly joined Arsenal and Chelsea in the race to sign Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Kaoru Mitoma.
The Japanese star has been in fantastic form for the Seagulls since the beginning of the year and he is currently one of the best wingers in the Premier League.
Brighton have been holding talks with his representatives to extend his contract with a pay rise but as things stand, they are yet to convince the player into a renewal.
Amidst this, Mundo Deportivo claim that Barcelona have joined the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in the pursuit of the 26-year-old forward.
Mitoma has had a fine start to the campaign for the Seagulls. He has netted three goals and provided four assists from 11 appearances across all competitions.
It may not be long before he joins a bigger club in Europe. Brighton won't make it easy for another suitor. They are likely to demand upwards of £60 million for him.
