Turkish champions Galatasaray are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek this winter.

The Dutchman was touted to leave the club in the last transfer window, but he did not receive any suitable offers on the table.

Lorient tried to sign him on loan but Van de Beek was not convinced about joining a mid-table club in the French top tier.

Galatasaray were also linked with his services, but they cooled their interest after signing Tanguy Ndombele from Spurs.

It is now reported that the Istanbul outfit are planning to return for Van de Beek, who has fallen out-of-favour at United.

The midfielder has played less than 50 minutes this term and it is quite clear that he has no future with the Mancunian side.

It is likely that they will propose a temporary deal for his services with an option to purchase at the end of the campaign.

Van de Beek should be tempted by the proposal, considering Galatasaray are currently fighting to defend their league title.
