Chelsea pushing to sign Mexican striker

Chelsea are prepared to make an early approach for Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez amid interest from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Mexican has been a revelation for the Eredivisie outfit and he has netted 46 goals since his arrival from Cruz Azul in the summer of 2022.
This has caught the eye of several elite European clubs but reports claim that the Blues want to head the queue with an early approach next month.
They have already spoken with the representatives of the marksman and plan to discuss the asking price with Feyenoord in the coming weeks.
It remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old will consider a move to Stamford Bridge, given their poor form over the last 18 months.
The Blues are currently stranded in the 10th spot in the table and they look set to miss out on Champions League qualification again.
On the contrary, Arsenal are in a strong position at the top of the table and could guarantee him the opportunity to play in Europe.
