Man Utd make enquiry to sign 18-goal striker

Manchester United have made an enquiry to sign Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy ahead of the January transfer window.

The Guinean star has been in fantastic form for the Bundesliga outfit this term and he has already netted 18 goals in all competitions.

His progress has caught the eye of several elite clubs and according to Florian Plettenberg, United have made an initial enquiry.

Nothing else has been done and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will make an approach to sign him in the New Year.

United have had a poor Premier League season by their high standards and they have accumulated only 27 points from 16 games.

The lack of cutting edge in the final third has been alarming with Rasmus Hojlund yet to find the back of the net in the league.

The Dane has five goals in the Champions League, but he has been disappointing with his displays in the top-flight so far.
