Van De Beek set for German club

Manchester United midfielder Donny Van De Beek is on the verge of a loan move to German side Eintracht Frankfurt in January, with the Dutchman hopeful that he can rekindle his career after a miserable spell at Old Trafford. The manager of United, Erik Ten Hag, has decided that there is no future for the midfielder at the club.

Eintracht Frankfurt are one of Germany's most innovative and forward thinking sides, with the Bundesliga club obviously spotting some talent in Van De Beek that they hope to nurture. It is understood that the player could move to Germany on a permanent basis at the end of his loan deal.

The 26-year-old moved from Ajax to Man Utd in 2020 and has been a flop since then, with a lack of regular first-team football, under several coaches arriving. It had been hoped that fellow countryman Ten Hag could inspire Van De Beek.

It is understood that Eintracht could sign Van De Beek on a permanent deal next summer for a fee of 15 million euros.
