Ivan Toney ready to reject Chelsea for Arsenal
Brentford striker Ivan Toney is ready to turn down Chelsea for a move to Arsenal during the winter transfer window.
The Englishman is currently banned for breaching FA betting rules but he will be eligible to play again from January 17.
According to Independent, he has made his mind up to join the Gunners, who are currently battling for the league title.
Chelsea's poor form has put them out of the race for the marksman but they are also facing Financial Fair Play issues.
Toney netted 20 goals in the Premier League last season and he was one of the top five goalscorers before his suspension.
He has been working on his fitness in training over recent months and he could be match fit by the time he returns.
Brentford are prepared to part ways with him at the turn of the year, but they are expected to demand at least £60m.
Arsenal are planning for a big January transfer window as they look to go all the way to win the league title this time.
