Chelsea keen on signing Girona striker

Chelsea are lining up an approach for Girona's in-form striker Artem Dovbyk next month.

The Blues are currently 10th in the standings with 28 points and they have much work to do to finish in the European places.

A new striker is likely to be targeted at the turn of the year and The Sun claim that Dovbyk is one of the top names on their list.

The Ukrainian has been a revelation for Girona this campaign and he has netted 11 goals and provided five assists from 17 games.

Girona is currently valued in the region of £39 million and reports claim that the Blues could make a genuine move to land him.

Aside from a marksman, the west London giants are also expected to pursue a new central defender at the start of 2024.

The Blues have been very inconsistent at the back this term and it is reported that they could pursue a new acquisition.

Genoa's Radu Dragusin is on their radar but Tottenham Hotspur are currently deemed favourites to land his signature.
