Arsenal eyeing late deal for Everton midfielder?
Arsenal could make a late swoop to sign Everton midfielder Amadou Onana before the transfer window closes.
The Belgian has been on the Gunners radar for the past few weeks and it was recently claimed that his agent spoke with Arsenal officials.
Sacha Tavolieri now claims that the club are in a difficult FFP situation but a late move for Onana can't be ruled out before the deadline.
If the Gunners can recoup funds from a couple of player exits, this should put them in a good position to land Onana in the coming days.
Onana is currently valued in the region of £60m by the Toffees, but they could accept less due to the need to balance their financial books.
The club have been found guilty of breaching profit and sustainability rules for the second time this season and could be docked points again.
Onana is said to be interested in joining the Gunners and could push for a transfer if the club are prepared to make a formal approach.
