Bruno Fernandes rejected big money move to Saudi
Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes turned down a big-money move to Saudi Arabia during the winter transfer window.
The Portuguese has been in inconsistent form for the Red Devils this term, but he remains a key player in the number 10 position.
He is currently an undisputed starter for the club, but this has not ended speculation of him heading for a move to Saudi.
Fernandes received multiple offers last summer, and it is now revealed that Al-Hilal attempted to land his signature in January.
He was handed an astronomical salary package, but the midfielder made it clear that he did not want to leave European football.
The 29-year-old also showed his loyalty towards United and he is not looking for a huge payday at the current point of his career.
Al-Hilal have not given up on him just yet and they are likely to make another attempt for his services during the off-season.
Aside from Fernandes, Saudi clubs are likely to line up with offers for Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah in the summer.
