Erik ten Hag speaks on futures of Varane and Evans
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has spoken on the futures of Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans at the club.
The Red Devils are set for a busy summer transfer window and there could be plenty of departures alongside several arrivals.
Varane and Evans have their contracts expiring at the end of the season and when asked for an update on the duo's futures, Ten Hag said:
"We haven't made that decision yet."
Evans signed a short-term deal last summer. He was initially with the team to work on his fitness but ended up rejoining them.
There is a possibility that he could renew his deal in the near future.
However, Varane could be certain to head for the exit door as the club have no plans of matching his current weekly wages.
A renewal seems unlikely unless he is prepared to accept a 50 per cent pay-cut on his current weekly salary of £350,000.
That may not be acceptable for the World Cup winner, who apparently has an offer of £950,000-a-week from Al-Nassr.
