Bayern Munich want Arsenal star as Davies replacement?

Bayern Munich have identified Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko as a potential replacement for Alphonso Davies this summer.

Davies will enter the final year of his contract with the German champions in July and there is speculation that he could be on the move.

There has been no agreement over personal terms with the club and the Bavarian giants could open the door to selling him for €60m.

Amidst this, Bayern are also looking for a potential successor and it is reported that they have their sights on Zinchenko's situation.

The Ukrainian is currently in his second campaign with the Gunners. He has been absent for the past few games with a calf problem.

In his absence, Jakub Kiwior has been hugely impressive from the left-back position. Zinchenko may need to earn his position in future.

Aside from Kiwior, Takehiro Tomiyasu is another competitor at left-back. Jurrien Timber will be in the mix too after his long knee injury.

Hence, Zinchenko's game time from the starting XI is far from guaranteed. This could pave the way for his departure during the summer.
