Erik ten Hag confirms triple injury boost for Liverpool game
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed a triple injury boost ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final tie against Liverpool at Old Trafford next weekend.
The Red Devils ended a two-match losing league streak with a victory over Everton yesterday. Speaking after the game, Ten Hag delivered good news on the injury front.
He said that Aaron Wan-Bissaka is already back in training. The Dutchman added that he expects Harry Maguire also to make the matchday squad for the Cup tie.
The United boss added that Rasmus Hojlund should also recover from a muscle issue for the derby. The Red Devils will start the game as potential underdogs.
They played out a goalless draw against the Reds at Anfield earlier this campaign, but they were outclassed with 34 shots for the hosts during the game.
Ten Hag will be hoping that United start on the front foot with home advantage. The FA Cup is their only chance to win a trophy in the current season.
