Man Utd attacker suspended for Brentford game
Manchester United attacker Amad Diallo won't be involved in the upcoming Premier League game against Brentford on the road.
The Ivorian ace scored a dramatic late winner in the FA Cup quarter-final win over Liverpool earlier this month, but got sent off soon after.
He was already booked in extra time and was handed his marching orders after taking his shirt off during the celebrations for the winner.
With red cards not being competition specific, Amad has now been suspended for the Premier League game against Brentford on Saturday.
His absence is not a huge blow for United, who currently have Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho as the preferred wingers.
However, Amad should be disappointed in a personal point of view. He won't be able to make the matchday squad this weekend.
Antony, who scored a vital equaliser in normal time versus Liverpool, could be handed minutes off the bench in Amad's absence.
United face a must-win situation in the Champions League race. They are currently nine points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa with one game in hand.
