Chelsea set to sign Kellyman

Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Aston Villa attacker Omari Kellyman, according to David Ornstein.

The Blues recently sold Ian Maatsen to Aston Villa in a deal worth £37.5m. As part of the agreement, they agreed to buy a player from the Villans.

Ornstein has now confirmed that the Blues have opted to sign Kellyman from the Midlands outfit and they will reportedly pay around £19m for him.

The youngster could feature in the club's development squad next season and there is also the possibility that he could be loaned out to Strasbourg.

Chelsea have changed their transfer policy in the current window. They are looking to sign players under the age of 25 with reasonable wages.

That was a prime reason behind ending their interest in Michael Olise, who wanted to become the club's highest earner ahead of Raheem Sterling.

Olise has since agreed to join Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. His transfer could be completed before the end of the month, as per BILD.
