Man Utd close to signing striker after agent agreement

Manchester United are close to signing Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee following an agreement with his agent Kia Joorabchian.

The Red Devils recently decided to trigger the €40 million release clause in Zirkzee's contract and they are now close to signing him.

The club have reached an agreement with Joorabchian over his commission and they are now awaiting the final decision of the striker.

Zirkzee has the preference to join AC Milan in Serie A, but the Rossoneri are reluctant to meet the high commission of €15m for Joorabchian.

United also had a similar stance, but Joorabchian has apparently offered them a discount in order to strengthen his ties with INEOS.

The Dutch striker was initially on holiday, but he was asked to join the Euro 2024 squad. His future could be decided after the tournament.

Arsenal are also admirers of the former Bayern Munich man, but they seem to be interested in landing Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres.
