Chelsea want to negotiate terms for Victor Osimhen deal
Chelsea are keen on negotiating terms with Napoli over a summer move for Victor Osimhen, according to Rudy Galetti.
The west London giants have been poor up front in the current campaign. Nicolas Jackson has been guilty of missing numerous clear-cut chances.
They need a proper solution to compete for Champions League football and Osimhen has been identified as the priority target for the summer.
The Nigerian star currently has a release clause worth €130m in his deal, but the Blues can't afford to pay the fee in a single payment.
With Financial Fair Play issues, the Blues want to negotiate a long-term payment plan to purchase for the former Lille marksman.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has opened the door to discussions, though he may not be willing to lower the transfer fee.
Paris Saint-Germain are also keen admirers of Osimhen, but the striker is likely to give preference to a move to the Premier League.
