Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
Arsenal have been handed an injury boost on Jurrien Timber ahead of the Premier League clash against Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners continued their title charge at the weekend with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur away from home.
They will be aiming to pick up another victory in Saturday's early kick-off. Ahead of the game, there could be a good news.
Timber was very close to making his long-awaited comeback last weekend, but manager Mikel Arteta did not include him in the squad.
However, he is anticipated to make the bench against the Cherries and could make an appearance if the club are in a winning position.
Timber has had a forgettable debut season after a serious knee injury in August. Arsenal have handled his recovery with extra caution.
The Dutchman was recently involved with the Under 23s and looks to be close to match fitness. He could be a key player for Arsenal next term.
