Man Utd handed double injury boost for Brighton game

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League meeting against Brighton & Hove Albion on the road.

The Red Devils are currently eighth in the league standings and would need to better Newcastle United's result on the final day in order to qualify for the Conference League.

Ahead of the game, Ten Hag has confirmed that Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof have returned to full training and they could be involved against the Seagulls on Sunday.

Harry Maguire is also not far from making his comeback and the former captain could be fit for the FA Cup final against Manchester City next week.

United have had a dismal campaign by their high standards, but they could end the season on a high note with European football and a trophy.

The club are underdogs at the current point of time, but they will be aiming to surprise Pep Guardiola's side in the Wembley showdown.
