Man Utd have strong interest in signing Dutch striker
Manchester United have strong interest in signing Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee this summer, according to The Guardian.
The Red Devils are eyeing a new centre-forward with Anthony Martial expected to leave the club on a free transfer next month.
They have been linked with multiple names, but it is now reported that the hierarchy have lined up Zirkzee as their prime target.
The Dutchman had a decent second season with Bologna last term. He scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions.
Zirkzee reportedly has the preference to stay in Italy with interest from AC Milan, but the Rossoneri are yet to agree terms with his agent.
While they are prepared to pay his €40m release clause, there is currently an issue to the commission demanded by his representative.
Kia Joorabchian wants around €15m as brokerage which Milan don't wish to pay. This could pave the way for a Premier League move.
Manchester United won't be alone in the race for his signature with league rivals Arsenal also said to admire the former Bayern man.
