Man Utd eye move for Riquelme Fillipi
The new board at Manchester United have identified Brazilian 17-year-old wonderkid Riquelme Fillipi as a potential signing this summer, as the Palmeiras youth player seems set to make a move to Old Trafford. It has been reported in Brazil that United will have to pay around £25 million to land one of the country's best young players, and that the versatile winger is ready to move to England this summer.
Comfortable playing on either flank, the player, whose full name is Riquelme Fillipi Marinho de Souza, can also play as a forward. United's new ownership are ready to sign some of the world's best young players as the new board of directors begin a rebuilding project at the club.
It is understood that United, who have decided to keep hold of Erik Ten Hag for another season, could sell Antony this summer and have already allowed players such as Raphael Varane to leave the club.
United will be given a total of £130 million to spend on new players this summer transfer window.
