Crystal Palace want to keep Michael Olise next season
Crystal Palace are aiming to keep Michael Olise for another season amid interest from Chelsea.
The Frenchman had an injury-plagued 2023/24 season with the Eagles, but he was still impressive with 10 goals and six assists from 19 appearances.
He currently has a release clause worth £60m which the Blues are willing to pay, but the Eagles are hopeful of keeping him for another year at least.
They are prepared to increase his salary and release clause with a new deal and it remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old will consider the offer.
Chelsea have been determined to sign Olise for the last 12 months and they are already discussing personal terms through his representative.
Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in his services, but they are unlikely to make such a huge outlay this summer.
The new hierarchy at Old Trafford are reluctant to spend over the odds and prefer to pursue emerging talents with reasonable price tags.
