Arsenal to make surprise move for Barcelona winger?

Arsenal are considering a surprise move for Barcelona winger Raphinha, according to Spanish outlet Sport.

The Brazilian was a top target for the Gunners in the summer of 2022, but he eventually made the move to Barcelona from Leeds United.

Raphinha has since been in-and-out of the starting line-up and his playing time could reduce further with the arrival of Nico Williams.

The Catalan giants are determined to sign the Athletic Bilbao star and want to pair him alongside Lamine Yamal in the wide attacking roles.

Sport now claim that Barcelona are open to selling Raphinha for £42m as they need to balance their books with the investment for Williams.

Raphinha has been on the radar of multiple Saudi clubs over the past few weeks, but he has no desire to move to the Middle East as of now.

However, he could consider a return to the Premier League and it is claimed that Arsenal could make an approach for his services soon.
