Chelsea unlikely to sign Victor Osimhen - Fabrizio Romano
Chelsea are unlikely to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen at the current point of time, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Nigerian star has decided to pursue a new challenge away from the Serie A outfit and Chelsea are one of his admirers.
However, the striker has no desire to join them due to their proposal.
Chelsea want to sign Osimhen on loan with an option to buy next summer, but the 25-year-old does not want such terms.
Osimhen wishes to secure a permanent transfer to another elite club and is prepared to wait for better offers instead.
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are also admirers of the former Lille man, but they are reluctant to pay over the odds.
Napoli want a package close to the €130m release clause which Arsenal and PSG are reluctant to pay at the moment.
Unless the Serie A outfit lower their transfer demands, a move may not materialise with either club this summer.
