Ten Hag confirms huge selection boost for So'ton trip
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that midfielder Manuel Ugarte is available to start against Southampton in the Premier League.
The Uruguay international joined the club from Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day following weeks of transfer speculation.
Ten Hag initially said that Ugarte may need weeks or possibly months to become an important player, given his lack of minutes.
However, he has now confirmed his availability for the Saints game after playing 169 minutes during the international break.
Ugarte is likely to make his full Premier League debut in Saturday's early kick-off after Casemiro's dreadful display last time around.
The Brazilian gifted two goals to Liverpool by losing possession in his own half. He was substituted at the half-time interval by Ten Hag.
Casemiro could be on the bench for the weekend. It remains to be seen whether he will make an appearance following the interval.
Toby Collyer impressed in the second half against the Reds earlier this month and we won't be surprised if he gets more minutes.
