PL winger opens the door for Arsenal move?
Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo has opened the door for a potential move to Arsenal during an exclusive interview with The Athletic.
The Ghana international has made a tremendous start to the campaign and he has already registered three goals and one assist in the league.
Arsenal are one of the clubs keeping tabs on his progress and when asked about the Gunners, he said that he would prefer any team playing in the Champions League or the Europa League in future.
He said: "Yeah, any team that plays Champions League, Europa (League) — that's the aim. I know that's not going to come with a click of my fingers, it's going to take some time."
"It's going to take goals. It's going to take a lot of consistent performances. I am an Arsenal fan. I don't conflict the two with my job."
The Gunners are determined to land a quality back-up behind Bukayo Saka and Semenyo was one of the many names linked during the summer.
The north London giants are unlikely to make a big-money signing in January, but there could be some activity at the end of the season.
Semenyo has the chance to convince the Gunners into spending on him. For that to happen, he needs to make regular goal contributions this term.
