Chelsea handed big boost as winger returns early from international duty
Chelsea have been handed a big boost with Pedro Neto returning early from Nations League duty with Portugal.
The Portugal international has been a key player for the Blues and he scored the equaliser against Arsenal last weekend.
Neto continued his bright form against Poland on Friday night. He scored his second Portugal goal in the 5-1 rout at home.
The 24-year-old has now been permitted to return to the Blues with Portugal having qualified for the Nations League quarter-final.
Neto will return for Chelsea training early next week ahead of the Premier League clash against Leicester City on the road.
The winger has had injury troubles in the past. The Blues should be pleased with his early return from international duty.
Neto is currently in the peak phase of his career. He has the chance to cement the left-wing role with consistent displays.
