Enzo Maresca confirms injury for Chelsea midfielder
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed a fresh injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Ipswich Town on Monday night.
The Blues recently suffered their third defeat of the league season. Fulham sealed a stunning 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge with a late comeback.
Maresca will want a strong response against Ipswich on Monday and ahead of the game, he was posed with plenty of questions by the media.
One of those was focused on the absence of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The Italian confirmed that he picked up an injury, he said: "Kiernan is injured."
The Blues have dropped off in the last two games with just one point and they are now seven points adrift of Liverpool, who are top of the table.
They looked like serious challengers for the league title, but the momentum has diminished with their failure to beat Everton as well as Fulham.
The club could drop to third tonight if Arsenal beat Ipswich Town.
