Arne Slot on Harry Maguire's late chance in 2-2 draw
Liverpool shared the spoils against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
The Merseyside giants went into the game as huge favourites due to the form between the sides.
However, United outplayed them for most of the contest and were unable to pick up a surprise victory.
The game ended all square at 2-2, but Harry Maguire had an easy chance to find a dramatic winner.
Joshua Zirkzee put the ball on the plate for him in the dying seconds, but Maguire slashed his effort over the bar.
When asked about Maguire's late opportunity, Slot acknowledged that the Reds could have lost the game at the end.
He said: "They had the open chance from [Harry] Maguire.
"We had much more chances than them but in the end we could have definitely lost it with the Maguire chance."
Liverpool are six points ahead of second-placed Arsenal after the result. They have a game in hand at Everton.
