Geovanni wants Man City stay
Brazilian midfielder Geovanni is hoping that he can stay with Man City. The player scored a couple of important goals for the Citizens this year, and is hoping that Sven-Goran Eriksson offers him a new contract for next year.
âItâs been a brilliant year and the fans have really taken me to their hearts,â the 28-year-old said.
âEverywhere I go in Manchester they make me feel welcome and ask for pictures and autographs â they love me and I love them too.
âI would love to stay at the club, but as a professional footballer I have to consider all my options.
âWhether those options are in the UK, the Premier League or elsewhere weâll have to see, but I hope to be able to sort out my future in the next couple of weeks.â
