Man Utd winger on his way to La Liga club on loan - Fabrizio Romano
Manchester United winger Antony is set to join Spanish club Real Betis on loan for the remainder of the campaign, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Brazil international has been a fringe player for the Red Devils and he has accumulated only 400 minutes in all competitions this season.
There has been plenty of speculation regarding his future and it is now revealed that Antony has accepted a loan proposal from Betis.
Betis have found an agreement with United for the former Ajax man. They are likely to pay around 30 percent of his wages with a small fee.
Olympiacos were also interested in securing Antony's services, but the winger made his mind up to join Betis in the Spanish top-flight.
The attacker will be guaranteed regular playing time at Betis. A good loan spell could pave the way for a permanent transfer this summer.
It is highly unlikely that Antony will revive his career with United next season. The hierarchy have decided to cut their losses on him.
