Man Utd handed double injury blow for Leicester game
Manchester United have been handed a double injury blow ahead of the FA Cup fourth round tie against Leicester City at Old Trafford on Friday night.
The Red Devils recently suffered a 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace in the Premier League, and manager Ruben Amorim will want a better showing against the Foxes tomorrow.
Ahead of the game, it has been confirmed that Lisandro Martinez is sidelined with an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury. He could be out for a long period of time.
Alongside him, Luke Shaw is back on the sidelines with a minor issue. It is a different concern from what he was carrying, but it will keep him out of the Cup game tomorrow.
In the absence of the experienced duo, Amorim could opt for a teenager in the left centre-back role. Ayden Heaven could make his debut after his winter move from Arsenal.
The youngster has just one appearance to his name at the senior level, but he could be handed a surprise start after the double injury setback.
