Arsenal are favourites to sign 15-goal striker - Ben Jacobs

Arsenal are favourites to land RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko at the end of the campaign, as per journalist Ben Jacobs.

The Gunners are expected to bolster their strikeforce this summer and they have identified Sesko as one of their main targets.

Jacobs now claims that the Gunners are front-runners for the 21-year-old, having been in contact with his camp for the past year.

Sesko was reluctant to consider a change last summer, but the young sensation is expected to pursue a bigger challenge soon.

Manchester United and Chelsea are also admirers, but Sesko may want the assurance of Champions League football at his next club.

Arsenal are in prime position to qualify for the competition again and the guarantee of regular starts should bring him to them.

Sesko could cost more than €80m in the summer. A bidding war could take the price beyond €100m. Arsenal will be hoping for less.

Sesko has netted 15 goals in 29 appearances this term.
