Tottenham enter talks to sign striker with 33 goals & assists
Tottenham Hotspur have opened negotiations with Lille striker Jonathan David over a free transfer this summer, according to Le10 Sport.
The north London giants have had a poor Premier League campaign and they have accumulated just 34 points after 29 games into the season.
Spurs are likely to finish in the bottom end of the table and they could end another season trophyless unless they win the Europa League.
Amidst this, reports in France claim that Spurs have opened active and concrete negotiations with the representative of David.
The 25-year-old is one of the best strikers in Ligue 1. He has registered 23 goals and provided 10 assists for the French outfit this term.
He has decided against extending his contract beyond June and it is claimed that he would prefer a move to the Premier League this summer.
Spurs have entered concrete talks with the player, but they are not alone with Arsenal and Manchester United also making contact too.
