Arsenal really interested in signing Bournemouth star

Arsenal are really interested in signing Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen at the end of the campaign, as per Fabrizio Romano.

The Gunners are likely to make multiple signings during the summer and a new central defender could be considered as an option.

Jakub Kiwior has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A. Should his exit materialise, Arsenal could spend big on another centre-back.

Speaking to Givemesport, Romano said that Arsenal are really interested in signing the centre-back, who has a £50 million release clause in his contract.

He said: "From what I'm hearing, Arsenal are also interested.

"I think for Newcastle, it is going to be very difficult to get the deal done now with Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal.

"These three clubs are really interested, so I think he's going to stay in the Premier League."

Aside from a centre-back, the Gunners are expected to pursue a new striker, a versatile winger, a defensive midfielder and a back-up goalkeeper.
