Arsenal keen on signing Bundesliga midfield star?

Arsenal are keen on securing the services of Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson this summer, according to SportBild.

The Gunners have high ambitions for the summer transfer window and they could make at least five signings to strengthen the squad.

A defensive midfielder seems the main priority and reports have claimed that they are about to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.

However, the club continue to be linked with alternatives and SportBild claim that the Gunners could swoop for the services of Larsson.

Larsson has made a huge impression over the past two years at Frankfurt and he has been tipped to pursue a bigger challenge this summer.

Frankfurt are aware of the increasing interest and they are expected to hold out for at least £51 million to part ways with the former Malmo ace.

Liverpool and Manchester City are also interested in landing Larsson, who has been described as the next big thing from Sweden.
