Arsenal & Chelsea offered Man Utd star on loan?

Arsenal and Chelsea have been offered the opportunity to sign Manchester United star Marcus Rashford on loan this summer, according to Sport.

Rashford fell out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim last season and he was loaned out to Aston Villa during the second half of the campaign.

The Englishman had a good stint with 10 goal contributions from 17 games, but Villa decided against triggering the option to buy him for £40 million.

Rashford refused to accept a pay cut on his £300,000 per week wages. Villa therefore had no option but to decline the opportunity to purchase him.

It is now reported that the player's representative has been exploring offers. There is a high possibility that Rashford could depart on loan once more.

Barcelona are one of his main admirers, but can't afford his wages. Hence, he has been offered to the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea in recent days.

There is no indication that Arsenal or Chelsea will make a proposal for the United graduate this summer. They are exploring alternative options.
