Man Utd's second bid for Bryan Mbeumo rejected
Brentford have turned down a second offer from Manchester United to sign winger Byran Mbeumo this summer.
The 25-year-old had a fantastic 2024/25 campaign with the Bees, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists in the Premier League.
He has decided to pursue a new challenge this summer, and The Athletic claim that he only wants to join Ruben Amorim's United.
The same outlet reveal that United are yet to find an agreement.
Their opening offer worth £55m was rejected by the Bees. A second proposal worth £62.5m has also been turned down by them.
The west London outfit are aware of the interest from Tottenham Hotspur and aim to capitalise on the same to secure a higher package.
They are likely to hold out for at least £70 million to part ways with their prized asset as they may struggle to find a solid replacement.
The Bees have recently agreed to offload captain Christian Norgaard. The Dane is on his way to Arsenal for a small fee of £10 million.
