Arsenal ready to pay £40m to sign Chelsea star Noni Madueke

Arsenal are prepared to pay £40 million to sign Chelsea winger Noni Madueke this summer, according to journalist Miguel Delaney.

The Gunners are expected to bolster their wide attacking department this summer and they have identified Madueke as one of their prime targets.

The winger has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners and reports claim that talks are now underway between the clubs over the transfer fee.

Chelsea are looking for at least £50m to part ways with the PSV Eindhoven man but the Gunners are reluctant to offer more than £40m for him.

Negotiations are ongoing behind the scenes between the London giants and a resolution could be found soon with Arsenal keen on the player.

The Blues are also preparing for his potential departure, and have their sights on landing another wide player over the next couple of weeks.

Madueke has 11 goals and five assists for the Blues this campaign. He is expected to leave the club after returning from the Club World Cup.
