Man Utd eyeing transfer for Christopher Nkunku
Manchester United remain interested in signing Chelsea playmaker Christopher Nkunku during the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.
The Red Devils have already purchased Matheus Cunha to bolster their attack and they are pushing to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo as well.
United are also looking at additional options for their attack. The Athletic claim that Nkunku remains on the club's radar at the current point in time.
The Frenchman has had a difficult career with the Blues. He could be signed for just £35 million, having fallen out-of-favour under manager Enzo Maresca.
United are working on a limited transfer budget at the moment, and there is a possibility that they could swap Alejandro Garnacho for Nkunku.
However, a deal could depend on whether the Blues are prepared to pay extra funds as United value Garnacho in the region of £50 million.
Nkunku has also been linked with a return to the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. The German champions are long-term admirers of him.
