Arsenal agree £52m deal to sign 23-year-old winger

Madueke on his way to Arsenal

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign winger Noni Madueke, according to reputed journalist David Ornstein.

The England international has been with the Blues for the past two-and-a-half seasons, but he has now decided to pursue a new challenge.

Madueke recently agreed terms over a five-year deal with the Gunners, and the club have now finalised an agreement with the Blues for his transfer.

Mikel Arteta's side will reportedly pay £52 million for the 23-year-old. Madueke has left the United States to complete a medical with Arsenal.

If things go in the right manner, the former PSV Eindhoven man could be confirmed as the Gunners' fourth summer signing this weekend.

Arsenal have had a good summer and they have already secured the services of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard and Leandro Trossard.

The Gunners are expected to continue their spending spree after Madueke. A versatile playmaker and a marquee striker could be signed as well.
